“New CO2 absorbents pentane-3-oxy-1,5-diyl dimethyl dicarbonate (DC2, 98%) and octane-3,6-dioxy-1,8-diyl dimethyl dicarbonate (DC3, 96%) were provided by Chengdu Organic Research Institute, which has been reported previously (Chen et al., 2019). The specific structural formula was shown in Figure 4 Fig. 5. exhibits the experimental instrument in this work, which was used to measure the phase equilibrium data of CO2-absorbent system through constant-volume method (Zhao et al., 2018, Gui et al., 2011, Li et al., 2012). Experiments were carried out at different temperatures (303.15 K, 313.15 K and 323.15 K) in a high-pressure-resistant container, respectively. There were two stainless steel chambers in the high-pressure-resistant container where the operating pressure was limited within 15.0 MPa. One of the champers is the gas buffer tank with a volume of 161.0 cm3, the other is the equilibrium tank with a volume of 62.0 cm3, in which the pressure was detected by pressure sensors. The dissolution of CO2 in the absorbents was accelerated by magnetic stirring. Water bath was used throughout the dissolution experiment with a Pt-100 platinum resistance temperature sensor.
