Transition metal free dual functional materials (Na/Al2O3) were used for ICCU-RWGS and the influence of reaction temperature was investigated (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jcou.2022.102049).
As shown in the two figures below, the production of CO was significantly increased with the increase of reaction temperature from 350 to 500 °C, while interestingly, the capacity of CO2 capture was quite similar at different temperatures. The conversion of CO2 was enhanced when the reaction temperature increased from 35o to 450 °C, and stabilised at around 90% until 500 °C. In addition, the selectivity to CO was around 95% and not that affected by the reaction temperature.
