“The influence of different CO2 concentrations in the bulk gas on the limestone’s calcination rate was also evaluated experimentally at various temperatures, as depicted in Fig. 5. It should be noted here that no induction period was detected at the beginning of the reaction under all the studied conditions. This comes in contrast with Valverde (2015) who observed around 4 min of induction period at 885 °C and 60 kPa of CO2.”
