Dissolve oxygen (related to oxygen solubility) can promote oxidative degradation of amine solvent. A few additives have been investigated including non-ionic surfactant, Xiameter™, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, and sodium metavanadate. The influence of adding these additives on dissolve oxygen at 25–40 °C was reported in section 3.6 of the reference (related to Figure 9).
