Data for Absorption of CO2 with water lean and pure organic solvent

https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.energyfuels.0c00880

“In Table 2, one can see that Henry’s coefficients of the water-lean solvents containing NMP are statistically indistinct from those of the pure organic solvent. This indicates either a complete absence of chemical reaction or the fact that such reaction should be negligible for practical purposes, as one would expect chemical interactions to increase the solubility of CO2 in these solvents. In other words, Table 2 reinforces our conclusion that there is negligible enhancement in CO2 absorption when mixing NMP with 10 wt % DEEA or diisopropylamine.”
